The Quick Undertale Soul Quiz — 20 Questions

20 questions · ~3 min · runs entirely in your browser

Loading questions…

The quick version of the Soul Virtues Extractor: 20 questions, about three minutes on a phone, scored on the same seven-virtue model as the full test. It is the fastest way to see which of the seven Undertale souls you lead with.

The 20 questions are drawn from the same pool of original rewrites as the full run — every question text on this site is written in our own words, inspired by the classic 66-question quiz without copying it. Each answer nudges seven virtue scores — Bravery, Justice, Integrity, Perseverance, Kindness, Patience and Determination — up or down, exactly like the longer version.

Your result is a full spectrum, not a single label: a dominant soul, a secondary soul, and where you land against the 50% neutral baseline on all seven virtues. You get the same shareable soul card as the full test; the quick run just samples fewer questions per virtue, so treat close calls as a tie and retake the full 72 if you want the fine-grained read.

Everything runs locally in your browser. Answers and progress live in your device's localStorage — no accounts, no server-side profiles, nothing transmitted. Leave mid-test and the resume banner on the home page picks up where you stopped.

FAQ

How fast is the quick soul test?

Twenty questions, about three minutes at a relaxed reading pace. It is the short version of the full 72-question test, not a different quiz — same scoring model, same seven virtues, same result card.

Is the quick test as accurate as the full 72?

It samples fewer questions per virtue, so scores within a few points of each other should be read as effectively tied. For a fine-grained spectrum — especially if two souls finish close — take the full 72-question version.

Do I need an account or does my data leave my device?

No account, and no data leaves your device. The quiz runs entirely in your browser; answers and progress are stored in localStorage only.

Which seven souls does the test score?

Bravery (orange), Justice (yellow), Integrity (blue), Perseverance (purple), Kindness (green), Patience (light blue) and the red soul, mapped by fandom tradition to Determination. The trait names come from Undertale's Ball Game in Snowdin; the red mapping comes from the True Lab lore.
